-An insider dude (forgot his name) told the story of Terry Farrell leaving the show, which I’d never heard the exact reasons for before. When they were renewing all the actors’ contracts for the 7th season, they gave them all substantial bumps in salary. When they got to her, they gave her no raise and told her, “You can’t act and you’ll never get another job outside of this, so take it.” She was totally furious and turned it down. And then got a job 4 days later on Becker. Things were icey with her and Berman for a while after. Rick Berman would ignore her when seeing her on the lot afterwards. So it was totally Rick Berman’s fault that Jadzia Dax got killed off.
